Technology Assurance Analyst

Your team

Our Risk Management & Assurance function are in the early stages of forming a Tech Assurance team and as a result an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technology Assurance Analyst to join our growing team.

This team is responsible for championing and protecting the delivery of our regulatory and business requirements across the division and for our highly regarded brands across UK and Ireland. This is achieved through delivery of a risk-based assurance plan, promoting effective internal controls and risk management, and providing guidance to the business on assurance, governance, and control process improvements.

What you’ll do
The team will be responsible for providing assurance to the UKI Executive team on the design and efficiency of key technology controls and how these mitigate associated risks.

This will be achieved by:

  • Support the team to champion and protect the delivery of our regulatory requirements, business objectives and commercial goals.

  • Providing ongoing assurance to other business areas on the effectiveness of key regulatory and business operational controls through continuous data reporting, control testing and thematic reviews.

  • Conduct testing to ensure internal controls are appropriately crafted, operationally effective and are aligned to the business’s regulatory requirements, objectives and risk appetite.

  • Identify and escalate regulatory breaches and or control weakness’ through continuous monitoring by prioritising, testing, and reporting of business key controls.

How you’ll do it

  • A good understanding of IT general controls (e.g., Information security, change management, governance, infrastructure etc.) including accurate design and implementation.

  • Experience in working in Audit, Risk, or a similar role.

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks and general security controls.

  • CISA, CISM, CISSP qualification or equivalent is desirable but not crucial as full training will be provided.

  • Experience in using data analytic tools and techniques is an advantage.
