Senior Finance Business Partner - Cost & Brand Alignment

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Senior Finance Business Partner will become the authority on the UKI cost of sales base, working closely with Brand Finance, Procurement and Trading to ensure we maintain good control whilst finding opportunities for efficiency.
We are seeking a commercially minded, finance professional to take ownership of Cost of Sales management and support on brand alignment across the UKI division.
We are looking for someone that will help us align ways of working and key processes across our brand finance teams. Ideally this would suit someone with some Lean/ Six Sigman understanding or formal qualification and enjoys working across teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Cost of Sales
- Become the UKI authority on the Cost of Sales base; leading the long term plans, budget and forecast process for these costs
- Partner with the UKI Procurement team on contract renewals and negotiations with key suppliers
- Build a strong relationship with UKI Procurement and Trading to drive efficiency in the cost base
- Work closely with FP&A and Brand Finance teams to understand the total UKI position and the individual brand cost drivers
- Build and maintain Cost of Sales forecast modelling & prepare mitigation strategies for cost increases
- Own the month end process and prepare US Gaap and IFRS reporting and commentary
Commercial Finance Alignment
- Working with brand finance teams, see opportunities for process and efficiency improvements for example revenue forecasting, month end reporting
- Spearhead working groups to deliver these efficiencies and hold Brand Finance teams to account
What we’re looking for:
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Confirmed ability to partner cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
- Commercial competence with an understanding of how CoS impacts profitability.
- Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex financial concepts.
- A naturally curious outlook, with the confidence to challenge and seek improvements; ideally with Six Sigma training
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
