HR Change Partner (18 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Role Purpose:

We’re seeking an experienced and people-centric HR Change Partner to join us on an 18 month fixed term contract. You will play a pivotal role in supporting a multi-year large-scale transformation programme across the Finance organisation. Sitting at the intersection of HR and change management, this role partners closely with local HR Business Partners, frontline managers, and leaders to embed meaningful change. You’ll ensure operational delivery of change initiatives with a strong focus on people impacts, behaviours, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building rapport with key team members to ensure alignment and support for the change initiative. 
  • Partner with local HRBPs to align on change delivery objectives within the overall Org & People Strategy.
  • Support with the detailed mapping of People Change impacts and related action plans, including engagement on organisation design for Divisions and Brands as well as mitigating for people-related risks.
  • Drive alignment across the People Change impact reports with the Business Change impact assessments across the Org & People Pillar of the change programme.
  • Collaborate with local HRBPs on the implementation of change-related HR activities such as role redesigns, talent deployment and workforce transitions.
  • Manage data related to the Divisions and Brands such as org charts, headcount, attrition, incentives, etc. Contribute to reporting on people-related metrics.
  • Support the embedding of new ways of working, values, and attitudes including promoting behavioural change that aligns with transformation goals.
  • Coordinate feedback loops with HRBPs and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared. Regularly interpreting data points from Peakon surveys.
  • Engage with HRBPs and leadership on identifying and addressing potential resistance to change, helping employees adapt to new processes and systems. 
  • Engage in initiatives that enhance team resilience, mitigate for change fatigue and focus on wellbeing during a sustained period of change.
  • Supporting with the implementation of communication plans across the HRBP community to keep employees informed and engaged during the change process. 
  • Supporting HRBPs with performance management and any required changes to the process to align with new Finance structures or goals.  

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven HR Business Partner-level experience at supporting change or transformation programmes within complex organisations.
  • Strong partner management and ability to build and maintain relations in a matrix environment across multiple entities and time zones.
  • Great teammate who thrives on working as part of a wider group to deliver critical landmarks for the overall transformation programme.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and convey information across various leadership levels.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and develop creative solutions with HRBP partners to support and empower our employees.
  • Experience in navigating ambiguity, dealing with complexity and working in an agile way.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while delivering on essential people-centric outcomes.
  • Comfortable delivering operational HR tasks with a strategic lens.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and driving projects. 

What Success Looks Like:

  • Coordinated support on the delivery of transformation activities, including people impact mapping, workforce reconfiguration, capability shifts, and org design.
  • Impactful people data dashboards, incorporating feedback loops, and Peakon data around employee experience.
  • Strong collaboration with the HRBP community throughout the change journey
