The Position:
FanDuel Sports Network is looking for an experienced Senior Director, Ad Sales Planning and Pricing to add to our roster. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, Revenue Strategy, and Ad Operations this role will spearhead advertising sales planning and pricing across our multi-platform regional sports network. With premium live coverage of MLB, NHL, and NBA games, your mission will be to optimize revenue, guide pricing strategy, and empower our sales force with actionable insights across TV and digital.
 

This is a hybrid position and can be located in Southport, CT or NYC.

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)

  • Develop and oversee all pricing strategies for ad sales across linear television and digital platforms
  • Build revenue projections, deal models, and inventory utilization reports to guide sales planning
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, research, and content teams to align pricing with audience insights and programming priorities
  • Serve as primary liaison between Ad Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations, ensuring consistent forecasting, rate card integrity, and sales enablement tools
  • Manage ad inventory to maximize yield during key sports seasons and marquee matchups
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the Sales Planning team, fostering collaboration and excellence
  • Partner with analytics and research teams to evaluate campaign performance and inform future pricing strategy
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to maintain pricing innovation

The Stats:
(What to bring)

  • 7+ years of experience in ad sales planning, pricing strategy, or revenue operations within media (TV and/or digital)
  • Strong familiarity with sports broadcasting, preferably across major leagues like MLB, NHL, and NBA
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills; mastery of Excel, PowerBI, and forecasting tools
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of driving team performance and cross-functional alignment
  • Proficiency in ad tech platforms (WideOrbit, Springserve, Operative, etc.) and digital metrics (CPMs, impressions, video completion rates)
  • Collaborative communicator with a strategic mindset and passion for sports and media

Bonus Stats:

  • Experience working at a regional sports network or major broadcast group
  • Knowledge of audience targeting tools and programmatic buying workflows
  • Comfort navigating the fast-paced, ever-evolving media and digital landscape

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $170,000 - $180,000.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
