As a local sports media platform, we’re proud to be the local media partner for 29 MLB, NHL, and NBA teams, producing and delivering over 3,000 live games and events every year. The Position: 
FanDuel Sports Network is looking for an experienced Manager, New Revenue Strategy and Business Development to add to our roster. Reporting to the VP, New Revenue Strategy & Business Development, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term growth and competitive positioning of FanDuel Sports Network. This individual will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing strategic initiatives, partnerships, and business opportunities that drive revenue, expand market reach, and strengthen FanDuel Sports Network as the premier local sports media platform.  


This is a hybrid position and can be located in NYC or Southport, CT. 

The Game Plan: 
(What you will do) 

  • Develop business cases and presentations for new enterprise-wide initiatives to drive new revenue streams as well as for potential partnerships, acquisitions, and investments. 

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. 

  • Manage due diligence processes, financial modeling, and integration planning for new business initiatives. 

  • Support deal negotiation, structuring, and execution in collaboration with senior leadership. 

  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams (programming and production, marketing, product, operations, finance) to support strategic projects. 

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key industry partners, media platforms, sports leagues, and technology providers. 

  • Conduct research and data analysis to inform business decisions and identify emerging trends in sports, media, and technology. 

  • Provide actionable insights to guide company positioning and investment decisions. 

  • Prepare executive-level presentations and other materials to communicate findings, recommendations, and outcomes. 

 

The Stats: 
(What to bring) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. 

  • 5+ years in corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, consulting or private equity, preferably within sports, media, or technology sectors. 

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data visualization and AI tools a plus. 

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities. 

  • Deep interest and understanding of trends and business models within the media, sports and entertainment businesses.  

  • Experience with deal processes and negotiation of commercial agreements.  

  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners. 

  • Strong executive presence with ability to present to internal and external teams. 

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $110K-130K.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
