This is a highly visible role that will work across the Flutter UKI Region, ensuring all business initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to colleagues and stakeholders and that supports our ambition to be the beating heart of Flutter UKI.

Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Manager UKI, this role supports our regional strategy. You will collaborate with people across the entire UKI region to help colleagues understand the latest news and engagement activities that build on our ambition to be a great place to work.

You’ll sit within a wider Flutter UKI Internal Communications team, spanning across three locations – Leeds, London and Dublin. This role will focus on communicating to our UKI audience, working closely with your colleagues across multiple locations to align key messages and activities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include management of the regional communication channels, keeping content up to date and relevant, as well as ensuring a blended multi-channel approach to communication, including our divisional intranet, newsletters, and Slack. You’ll also be the go-to person for managing audience groups, helping us reach the right people at the right time. You will also share responsibility in leading planning and gathering measurement and reporting information for the team.

As well as our digital communication channels, you will help organise and run ‘in-person’ communication events in the UK, including business ‘pitch’ presentations and other engagement activities.

As Internal Communications Executive, you collaborate closely with both out in-house creative team and external agencies, submitting briefs and pushing the wider team to think outside of the box when it comes to creating impactful and memorable internal campaigns.  

What you'll do:

We’re looking for someone who is naturally creative, not just with writing capabilities, but who can also turn their hand to a range of different media – and someone who can offer new and engaging ways to deliver key messages and activity.

  • Own and manage the internal content calendar – making sure messages reach the right audiences through a multi-channel approach.

  • Manage and develop our internal communications channels – including newsletters, Slack and our divisional intranet.

  • Work closely as part of the team to establish comms plans for key business themes and campaigns.

  • Support on the organisation and running of our internal events across our locations – whether in-person, hybrid or virtual.

  • Build excellent relationships with stakeholders across business functions and geographic locations.

  • Collaborate with designers, web developers and marketing communications professionals to create internal communications material, such as videos, toolkits and animations.

  • Support the wider team with administrative tasks

How you'll do it:

  • Previous experience of working in a complex organisation in a Communication or People function is preferred, but not essential.

  • Proven track record in owning and managing a range of communication channels.

  • Sound business acumen, good organisational awareness and strategic approach to problem solving.

  • Significant ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities

  • Ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships.

  • A good range of multi-media knowledge and ability

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and presentation communication skills
