Compensation Specialist

The Flutter Group Compensation team is a key part of our Group Reward function, with specific responsibility for advising on, developing, and managing Flutter's global job and pay architecture. This includes our frameworks for job grading and pay benchmarking, whilst also leading on our global pay equity and transparency strategy and driving innovation in compensation technology and analytics.

The Compensation Specialist supports the Group compensation team by executing pay benchmarking activities, maintaining pay range data, and providing analytical support to internal stakeholders. The role focuses on data accuracy, process compliance, and developing foundational expertise in job architecture and compensation analysis and advice.

What you’ll do:

  • Support pay range development and maintenance and market data analysis activities under guidance from the Compensation Manager

  • Assist with salary survey data collection and entry, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for survey submissions

  • Provide support for job profile matching queries and standard pay range alignment requests from HR teams

  • Prepare standard reports and analysis using Excel and data visualisation tools

  • Assist with updating policy documentation and help create training materials and FAQs

  • Support job levelling reviews for junior to mid-level roles

  • Manage enquiries into the team about standard policies, processes, and published pay range information

  • Provide project support for cyclical projects including Pay Transparency implementation activities

  • Partner with divisional reward teams to understand pay pressures and recommend policy improvements

  • Collate market intelligence and trends information for team review

  • Assist with preparation of materials for stakeholder meetings and presentations

How you’ll do it:

Early career experience within a Reward, HR or analytical role covering:

  • Data collection, analysis and reporting

  • Supporting policy and process implementation

  • Responding to routine stakeholder queries

  • Supporting project delivery activities

  • Working with HR systems and databases

Working knowledge of job evaluation principles and compensation benchmarking processes with understanding of major providers (WTW, Mercer, etc.)

Competent Excel skills with developing abilities in data analysis and visualisation techniques

Basic knowledge of HR systems (Workday preferred) with ability to run reports, extract data and understand job catalogue processes

Understanding of policy and process documentation requirements with ability to contribute to updates and improvements

Awareness of reward trends and regulatory requirements including job architecture and pay transparency principles

Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a fast-moving environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis

Ability to work collaboratively and learn from senior colleagues
