Payroll Accountant:
- Supervise payroll process and maintains contact with external payroll provider;
- Review and record invoices related to employees related cost into accounting system (Sap Business One);
- Preparing and submitting to external payroll provider monthly templates and files related to benefits, relocation cost, transportation, daily allowances, retentions and any other costs which are subject of payroll files and tax statement D112;
- Review all changes in the monthly Changes Report from HR system and performs the reconciliation against data from local payroll system, before payroll files are prepared by third party;
- Performs reconciliation between internal HR system and Payroll system data (salaries, new employees, bonuses, terminations, etc). Verifies the validity of any discrepancies by obtaining information and communicating with HR department;
- Records in accounting provisions related to bonuses, vacation accruals, monthly payroll files entries;
- Performs month-end checks as required;
- Responds to employees inquiries related to salaries;
- Assists local Finance Manager with monthly analysis of salaries, bonuses and overtime cost;
- Performs Payroll B&S accounts reconciliations (salaries and taxes payables);
- Assisting with preparation of employee related cost (salaries and benefits) monthly forecast and annual budget;
- Providing assistance during the yearly audit process;
- Prepares necessary internal reports regarding different KPIs – bonuses, overtime, etc.
- Degree in Economics.
- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years experience in accounting, including payroll area
- English – intermediate to advanced.
- Familiarity with employment law regulations and payroll taxes, internal processes and working with benefit providers
- Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP Business One is a plus).
- Very Good command of Microsoft Excel – working with high volume of raw data
- Detail-oriented and organized, ability to work independently
