Position Summary
 
This role leads a high‑performing sourcing team, ensuring resources, capabilities, and training align with business needs. It is responsible for building and managing strategic supplier relationships, using data‑driven evaluation and engagement to drive efficiency, performance, and informed decision‑making.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead the sourcing team and associated activities to ensure effective execution of responsibilities, including aligning resources, capabilities, and training to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, driving efficiency and performance through robust supplier evaluation, selection, and engagement processes. Leverage data analysis and clearly defined business requirements to support informed decision-making.
  • Own monthly processes, including meetings, metrics, and reporting; analyze and influence key performance indicators to ensure effective material flow and on-time delivery.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable sourcing strategies that ensure material availability and support a competitive product portfolio. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment, resolve issues, and influence outcomes within a matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing sourcing or procurement teams.
  • Demonstrated experience developing supplier strategies, managing vendor performance, and driving cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operations environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience across multiple supply chain disciplines (e.g., sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics).
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders to develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies with measurable outcomes in cost, quality, and performance.
  • Recognized subject matter expertise in procurement best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Strong results orientation with a demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Experience managing global and regional supplier relationships.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance supply risk (e.g., capacity constraints) with continuous improvement opportunities.
