Position Summary
At PROENERGY, we emphasize a ONE-TEAM approach where our Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Start-Up, Document Controls, and Operations teams work seamlessly for our clients as a solutions provider for the power industry. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will learn simple cycle power plant configuration along with Balance of Plant (BOP) auxiliary services and the various deliverables that are required to engineer and construct a generation facility.1

Position Responsibilities
- Assisting experienced engineers with engineering calculations, data analysis, and performance monitoring of BoP equipment.
- Helping prepare or update technical drawings, reports, specifications, or procedures.
- Supporting project tasks like equipment sizing/verification, issue troubleshooting, or minor design modifications.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited college enrollment with at least one year coursework in AutoCAD 3D platform
- Must read, write and speak fluent English.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualification.
- Proficient in the use of MS O3ice Suite programs.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and e3ective manner.
- Experience/proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Knowledgeable in fluid mechanics.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical standards and codes.
