Position Summary
ProEnergy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support the startup and commissioning of control systems and instrumentation on large-scale EPC power generation projects.

Location: Field

Travel: 90%

Essential Job Functions

Assist mechanical technicians and engineers with installation, alignment, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and controls teams to ensure system readiness and safe energization.
Perform installation, calibration, and testing of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and controls teams to ensure system readiness and safe energization.
Help prepare and maintain startup documentation, including test records and punch lists.
Perform material handling, equipment setup, and general labor tasks to support startup crews.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all site safety protocols.

Qualifications

Experience in I&C installation, testing, or commissioning in industrial or power generation environments preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of electrical equipment operation, electrical equipment maintenance requirements and maintenance restrictions imposed by safety and environmental regulations.
Available to work flexible work schedules.
Technical competence including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.
Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.

Additional Functions

Previous experience on construction or industrial job sites preferred
Ability to read and follow basic instructions, drawings, and safety procedures.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Physically able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in outdoor conditions.
