About Flutter UKI:
Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.
Reporting into the Head of Information Security – Architecture, Delivery, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, the Technology Risk Manager will play a key role in defining, implementing and operating a best-in-class risk framework for the Flutter UKI Technology function.
The Technology Risk Manager will:
- Build and run a high-performing risk team.
- Implement a single view of Technology Risk for the UKI Division
- Ensure that the UK&I Tech Risk framework and underpinning risk management activities are well operationalised, embedded, and actioned across the division. This role is key to delivering one of our core security principles; empowering the business to move at pace through effectively managing technology risk.
- Drive improvements to the UKI Technology Risk Scores.
- Establish a mechanism through which Internal Audit items affecting UKI Technology teams are effectively tracked to ensure their timely completion.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including:
- Internal Audit
- Second Line Risk and Assurance
- UKI Technology Leadership team
- Group Cyber
- Support the Head of Information Security – Architecture, Delivery, Governance, Risk, and Compliance with the BAU activities and roadmaps to govern all aspects of technology risk management across the division.
- Continually seek and build efficiencies into team’s workflows.
- Support the continuous evolution of the technology risk framework, ensuring alignment to Group CRO and other non-technology operational risk processes in the division.
- Helps to define, operationalise and embed risk reporting criteria for key tech/non-tech stakeholders in the UKI division and Group.
- Support Technology Leadership by providing the appropriate risk information to enable effective decision making.
- Work with other Technology and Infosec teams to ensure that risks have appropriate mitigating controls & actions in place that can be tracked and reported on.
- Works with the UKI InfoSec team to support delivery of our Technology and Infosec principles and wider initiatives needed to address identified risks.
- Supports the development of own team and training of UKI colleagues through the mutual sharing of risk knowledge and experience.
- Drive a general awareness and understanding of risk and risk management across UKI Technology
The role requires a significant level of engagement across the UKI organisation and to other stakeholders within Flutter Group, some of which are in multiple global locations. Therefore, there is an expectation of travel with this role, as required.
