Technical Business Analyst (Enterprise Tech) 

Location – Leeds Hybrid

This position is key in crafting how we scope, assess, and deliver work across our enterprise platforms, including Identity + Access Management, Identity Governance and Collaboration tooling (e.g. Slack, Atlassian) 

This role will shape technical solutions that align with business objectives, regulatory expectations and operational realities. You'll be responsible for translating complex business needs into actionable requirements, facilitating effective collaboration across and supporting sustainable delivery of scalable solutions. 

Working across varied teams and platforms, you’ll bring structure, clarity and insight to initiatives that range from tactical service improvements to complex system changes. You’ll play a key part in how the Enterprise IT team supports the wider business in delivering secure, reliable and user focused technology.

In Flutter COO we work with specialists across Flutter to build, deploy and communicate the Flutter Edge. Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation.  

What you’ll do  

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to gather, document and validate requirements. 

  • Translate high level concepts and problems into structured technical and functional requirements. 

  • Drive early discovery phases of initiatives, assessing feasibility, value and risk. 

  • Lead and facilitate workshops, internal interviews, and process mapping sessions to shape and prepare items for backlog refinement. 

  • Support agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, and reviews to ensure clarity, alignment and delivery confidence. 

  • Analyse and optimise business processes and workflows, identifying improvement opportunities. 

  • Define clear and testable acceptance criteria to support development and QA activities. 

  • Collaborate with the Delivery Lead, Product Owner and Engineering Manager to support prioritization and preparation across sprints or quarters. 

  • Partner with Enterprise Architects, Engineers, and Service teams to design scalable, secure and supportable solutions. 

  • Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure alignment with architecture, standards and expected outcomes. 

  • Champion data informed decision making, using analytics to validate requirements or measure outcomes.

What you’ll need

  • Several years experience in business analysis or technical analysis roles. 

  • Shown success operating within Agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban). 

  • Shown ability to lead requirements end-to-end, from concept to implementation. 

  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Slack, Atlassian/Jira, SailPoint, Okta or similar - with a focus on configuration, integration, and process optimisation. 

  • Exposure to areas such as Identity & Access Management, Access Governance, IT Service Management, enterprise collaboration tooling, or security and compliance-aligned delivery (e.g. SOX) is highly desirable. 

  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Tools & Technologies: 

  • Identity & Access Management platforms - e.g. SailPoint, Okta or similar 

  • Jira, Confluence, Miro or equivalent experience 

  • Slack - including experience with enterprise administration, integrations and data governance 

  • ITSM/workflow platforms 

  • Exposure to API-driven platforms, automation or complex data integrations is desirable
