THE JOB:
The Lead Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and maintenance of corporate applications focused on Finance COE. The candidate will require a deep understanding of Oracle ERP, EPM, and other relevant Finance technologies and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and align the solutions with the broader enterprise architectural vision. The candidate will partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, implementation partner(s), and agile delivery teams to sustain and enhance a fully implemented Oracle ERP solution.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Develop and execute the overall strategy for corporate finance applications within the Center of Excellence (COE).
Maintain deep expertise in Oracle ERP, EPM, and related finance technologies, ensuring alignment with capabilities, limitations, and industry best practices.
Oversee the planning, implementation, integration, and enhancement of finance applications, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical requirements.
Lead, mentor, and support technical teams in identifying and resolving system issues while driving operational excellence.
Manage vendor relationships, monitoring performance and ensuring delivery of value and innovation.
Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security across all financial systems.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline finance processes through effective use of technology.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues, ensuring business continuity.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging innovation to enhance finance capabilities and drive competitive advantage.
Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine functional and technical requirements.
Configure and test Oracle ERP & EPM solutions to meet evolving business needs, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, dashboards, and system administration.
Prepare functional/technical specifications for reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions.
Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure reliability, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues within Oracle ERP & EPM applications.
Collaborate with business leaders and solutions architects on product vision, requirements (functional and non-functional), and capability analysis to ensure systems enable strategic outcomes.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate holds a bachelorβs degree (preferred) and brings 8+ years of relevant experience applying computer science concepts to infrastructure and network design, development, and maintenance.
They have at least 5 years of ERP configuration and management experience, including 3+ years working with Oracle ERP Cloud to support, configure, and implement ERP, EPM, or SCM modules.
With deep knowledge of Oracle SCM functionality and best practices, they are skilled in full lifecycle implementationsβrequirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
They also possess experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Familiarity with additional supply chain technologies such as SAP, JDA, or Kinaxis, along with Oracle E-Business Suite, is highly valued.
The candidate understands supply chain processes, industry best practices (ITIL, COBIT), and combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver business-focused solutions.
