The person will be responsible for supporting the development and optimization of products related to risk management tools and systems.
The primary focus is to work closely with risk analysts and trading teams to ensure product features effectively support risk monitoring, control, and decision-making processes.
This role requires a solid understanding of risk management principles within the iGaming industry, along with strong product ownership and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog for risk management tools. Translate business requirements into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with risk analysts, traders, and internal teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Assist in defining and prioritizing features based on risk exposure, business impact, and feedback from risk management teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Apply practical knowledge of risk management processes to ensure tools support monitoring, alerts, limits configuration, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Validate product features to ensure they meet business requirements. Work closely with QA and stakeholders during testing phases.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in risk management workflows.
- Maintain clear and structured documentation, including workflows, configurations, and feature descriptions.
Requirements:
- 3β5 years of experience working in a risk management team, sportsbook operations, or a related role
- Good understanding of risk management principles and tools within iGaming or betting environments
- Experience working with risk analysts and trading teams
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes
- Ability to write clear user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
