What’s the position?

The Corporate Communications Manager will serve as a strategic storyteller and brand steward for Hard Rock Digital, shaping how we communicate with employees, partners, press, and the broader public. This position is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that elevate Hard Rock Digital’s reputation, articulate our vision, and strengthen alignment across the organization.

 

Focused on crafting compelling narratives, managing proactive and reactive communications, and building trusted relationships across teams, this role will help define how Hard Rock Digital shows up as an employer, a partner, and a leader in digital gaming. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, a clear thinker, and a creative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to turn complex ideas into engaging, on-brand messaging.

 

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Storytelling & Messaging

  • Develop clear, consistent messaging that reflects Hard Rock Digital’s mission, culture, and business priorities.

  • Write and edit high-impact communications—including announcements, blogs, internal memos, executive talking points, presentations, and press materials.

  • Shape narratives that reinforce Hard Rock Digital’s leadership in sportsbook, casino, and digital entertainment.

Internal Communications

  • Build and manage internal communication programs that keep employees informed, inspired, and connected.

  • Drive communication around company updates, product launches, cultural initiatives, organizational changes, and major milestones

  • Partner with People, Creative, and Leadership teams to ensure internal messaging is aligned, timely, and engaging.

External Communications & Media Relations

  • Support external partners with the development and distribution of press releases, media statements, Q&As, and briefing materials.

  • Help manage inbound media requests and coordinate with external partners to ensure accurate storytelling.

  • Maintain strong relationships with PR, brand, and marketing stakeholders to ensure communications support broader business goals.

Executive Communications

  • Craft strategic communications on behalf of senior leaders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and authenticity.

  • Prepare talking points, event remarks, and narratives for speaking opportunities, company meetings, and external engagements.

Issues & Reputation Management

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive insights, and cultural moments to identify opportunities and potential risks.

  • Provide thoughtful recommendations and communication strategies for sensitive, urgent, or high-visibility topics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Creative, HR, Social, and Marketing teams to ensure unified messaging across all channels.

  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to maintain accuracy, integrity, and regulatory alignment in all communications.

Content Development & Editorial Planning

  • Manage an editorial calendar for internal and external communications.

  • Contribute to multi-channel storytelling efforts across web, email, employer brand channels, and internal platforms.

  • Ensure all messaging reflects Hard Rock Bet’s tone, values, and commitment to responsible gaming.



What are we looking for?

  • 4–7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, or related fields (experience in sports, gaming, entertainment, or technology preferred).

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messages.

  • Demonstrated experience managing internal and external communication programs.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

  • Familiarity with media relations, press materials, and proactive communication planning.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, influence without authority, and build strong relationships across teams.

  • Understanding of brand voice, tone, and editorial best practices.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to think both strategically and creatively.

  • Plus: Experience supporting executives through speechwriting, presentations, or event communications.

  • Plus: Experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, etc.) for ideation, writing, or content production.

  • Occasional nights and weekends may be required around major company announcements or industry moments.
