iOS Developer – Shape Games 

Contract type: Full time
Location: On-site (Copenhagen office)/ hybrid/ remote

Shape Games is looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join our talented team and help build world-class sports betting applications. You’ll work in a cross-functional team to craft smooth, scalable, and feature-rich iOS experiences using cutting-edge native Apple technologies.

About the role

As an iOS Developer at Shape Games, you’ll be working with a team of 5–8 cross platform engineers in a trust-based, collaborative environment. You’ll be mentored regardless of your experience level to ensure a smooth onboarding and deep understanding of our modular product platform and development culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of scalable software
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment (5–8 engineers)
  • Be able to operate in an open, inspiring and trust-based environment, where your voice will be heard in matters concerning your team
  • Be assigned a mentor, regardless of your experience level, for the first weeks at work, just so you can get familiar with the product and the Shape Games ways of working
  • Join us in achieving the best user experience using native technologies from Apple
  • Fully embrace the Swift programming language and follow the Swift Evolution closely, taking advantage of any new features that we can see providing value
  • Contribute to expand our modular architecture: this has so far resulted in more than 50 swift packages that can be combined to create highly customisable sports betting apps (we use Swift Package Manager for dependency management)
  • Join us in using many exciting technologies including Reactive Programming with the framework developed by some of our colleagues, ReactiveKit (We also started using Swift Async Sequence which we see as a future of Reactive Programming in Swift)

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in developing native iOS applications using Swift and the iOS SDK
  • Motivation to learn and grow within a team of experienced and passionate iOS, Android, and web developers
  • Interest in design patterns and well-structured code and workflows
  • Commitment to maintaining high code quality, performance, and documentation standards
  • Clear, structured, and timely communication
  • Adaptability to fast-changing circumstances and requirements
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset
  • Interest in learning new things and sharing knowledge with others
  • Experience working in Scrum or Agile development environments
  • Comfortable collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA engineers

Location

On-Site (Copenhagen office)/hybrid or remote. For candidates based outside of Denmark we offer a relocation package.
