Job title: Internal Communications Specialist - 12-month fixed term contract

Overview of the role:
The Internal Communications Specialist will be a practical problem solver and doer. They ask the right questions, get stuck in, and turn complex topics into clear communications.
This role will partner closely with the Internal Communications Business Partner, Internal Communication Manager for Flutter Functions, Hubs Internal Comms teams and the Employer Branding Specialist. Will also play a critical part in delivering high-impact communications across our Flutter Bulgaria Hub - helping colleagues stay informed, connected and engaged.
This person will be responsible for supporting BAU including townhall, briefing packs, FAQs, social events and key comms moments.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you’ll do:
Report to the Senior Manager of Employer branding and Internal comms and partner with all Internal comms teams across hubs and Flutter Functions
Partner with the specialist in Employer Branding delivering high quality branded materials and comms
Plan, support and deliver key communications moments – townhall, events, briefing packs, newsletters and others
Implement internal communication plans aligned with Flutter and Flutter Bulgaria goals
Curate, build and distribute content, using creativity to convey complex information through engaging, effective communication
Coordinate and optimize internal communication channels such as the company intranet, Slack, emails, and others
Partner with leadership, HR, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and support initiatives.
Support internal events, townhall, and employee engagement activities.
Monitor communication effectiveness, gather feedback, and report on data to improve future efforts.
Support and own ad-hoc and project related internal comms work as and when required
What you’ll bring:
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, HR, or a related field, with equivalent experience considered
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging and accessible messages
Ability to support and advise senior stakeholders and leadership teams on communication topics
Solid understanding of employee engagement, company culture, and change communication
Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Creative mentality combined with a strategic and structured approach
High level of stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Background/ Experience
proven experience in internal communications, corporate communication, employer branding or related
Established track record in organizing and managing internal communication campaigns across multiple channels
Experience working in an international company is considered a strong advantage
Hands-on experience with internal communication platforms (intranet, CRM tools, internal social platforms)
Experience with Stakeholder management
