ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We are looking for an HR Business Partner in Malta to join our global HR team. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders across our Operations organisation and other relevant functions, providing proactive and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle.

As a trusted advisor, you will help leaders navigate employee relations matters, performance management, organisational changes, talent development, and day-to-day people challenges. You will combine strong business understanding, labour law expertise, and data-driven insights to support business objectives while ensuring a positive employee experience.

Working closely with the wider HR team, you will contribute to creating an engaging, high-performing, and compliant workplace where our people can thrive.

 

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

   Partner with leaders, providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management, labour law, organisational changes, and other people-related topics.

   Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, helping them build engaged, high-performing teams and navigate complex people situations with confidence.

   Support and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, performance concerns, absence management, grievances, investigations, and workplace conflicts.

   Provide expert advice on labour law and employment legislation, ensuring compliance and consistent application of company policies and processes.

   Use HR data, people insights, and key metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support informed decision-making.

   Drive and support annual HR processes, including performance reviews, salary reviews, talent discussions, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

   Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational changes, and team effectiveness to ensure the organisation is set up for success.

   Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Rewards, and other HR stakeholders to deliver a seamless employee experience.

   Participate in and contribute to local and global HR projects and initiatives aligned with business priorities.

   Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects our values and enables employees to perform at their best.

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

   Previous experience working as an HR Business Partner or in a similar generalist HR role.

   Strong experience supporting leaders on employee relations matters, Maltese labour law, performance management, and organisational challenges.

   Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.

   Strong business acumen and the ability to balance employee needs with business objectives.

   Experience working with HR data and insights to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.

   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

   Strong knowledge of local labour law and experience navigating employment legislation in a fast-paced environment.

   Experience working in an international and growing organisation is considered an advantage.

   Fluent English, both written and spoken.
