About Flutter Functions:

The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company.

Role Overview:

Enterprise IT are seeking an experienced Fin Ops specialist to play a critical role in maturing our enterprise procurement and license management capabilities across Flutter Entertainment's global brands.

This position will be instrumental in delivering standardised workflows and sustainable operating models for our enterprise workplace ecosystem.

This position will be instrumental in establishing and operating a comprehensive financial management framework for Enterprise IT's product portfolio. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end lifecycle of software and hardware contracts, ensuring optimal license utilisation, cost efficiency, and compliance across multiple brands and platforms.

A key focus of this role is implementing and managing the cross-brand charging model, ensuring accurate cost allocation based on consumption patterns and maintaining transparent financial visibility for stakeholders. You will act as the bridge between finance, procurement, engineering, and brand teams, translating complex licensing arrangements into clear, actionable insights that drive cost optimisation and informed decision-making.

The right candidate will have experience working with enterprise organisations developing and maturing their FinOps practices, with a proven track record in license management, contract lifecycle management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement in complex, multi-brand environments.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Contract & License Management

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of software and hardware contracts for Enterprise IT products

  • Monitor and track license consumption across multiple Flutter brands hosted on enterprise platforms

  • Ensure optimal license utilisation and identify cost optimisation opportunities

  • Maintain comprehensive asset visibility and management across the portfolio

  • Establish and maintain clear audit trails for compliance requirements

Procurement & Purchase Order Management

  • Raise, process, and manage purchase orders for new and updated contracts

  • Execute standardised procurement workflows and playbooks

  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure efficient vendor management practices

Cross-Brand Charging & Financial Management

  • Implement and operate the cross-brand charging model for license consumption

  • Accurately allocate and cross-charge brands based on their individual usage

  • Collaborate with finance & engineering teams to ensure transparent cost allocation

  • Provide regular reporting on consumption patterns and financial impacts

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions and brands

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions

  • Build strong relationships with brand finance teams and technical leaders

  • Communicate effectively on contract status, renewals, and optimisation opportunities

Process & Documentation

  • Contribute to the development of procurement process workflows and playbooks

  • Support implementation of license management system and tooling

  • Create and maintain process documentation and training materials

  • Support governance framework development and policy adherence

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • Financial management skills: Knowledge of financial management principles and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, including experience in financial modelling and cost analysis

  • Data analysis skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualisation, statistical analysis, and machine learning

  • Collaboration and communication skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, operations, technology and our engineering teams, to achieve cost optimisation goals

  • Experience with FinOps practices: Experience implementing and maintaining FinOps practices and methodologies, including knowledge of cost optimization frameworks

  • Proven experience in a similar license management, contract management, or procurement role

  • Strong understanding of software and hardware licensing models

  • Proficiency in data analytics & BI tools such as Excel

  • Experience managing contracts throughout their lifecycle

  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders across multiple business units

  • Experience with purchase order management and procurement processes

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Financial acumen with experience in cost allocation or chargeback models
