What's the position?

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director - Compensation & Benefits to lead our Benefit and Payroll teams within our fast-paced business. This role will be pivotal in designing and leading a progressive, data-driven reward strategy that attracts, motivates, and retains top talent in a highly competitive and creative global gaming market.

 

The Director will ensure compensation, benefits, and reward structures are aligned with business priorities, industry benchmarks, and the expectations of a dynamic and diverse workforce.

 

In this role, you will:

Compensation Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a competitive and flexible total reward strategy tailored to the needs of our industry and tech-savvy workforce.

  • Align reward structures with company culture, growth goal and talent retention in a high-growth environment.

 

Compensation

  • Lead global compensation design.

  • Partner with Finance and leadership to create reward models that support key development cycles

 

Benefits & Wellbeing

  • Manage benefits that appeal to diverse, creative, and remote teams (e.g., mental wellness, gamified wellness apps, lifestyle benefits).

  • Ensure benefits remain competitive across different geographies.

 

Performance, Recognition & Culture Fit

  • Integrate reward with performance systems that recognize both team collaboration and individual achievement.

  • Support the creation of recognition systems that resonate with our culture.

 

Analytics & Market Intelligence

  • Drive a data-led approach to reward decisions using benchmarking tools and internal analytics.

  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to influence talent strategy.

 

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the global team; promote agile, scalable processes across regions.

  • Partner with the wider People team to ensure reward supports inclusive and equitable hiring and retention.



What are we looking for?

  • Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (e.g. Excel, HiBob)

  • Cultural fluency and sensitivity in working with international teams

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Creative mindset - able to design reward solutions that engage our business

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in HR, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CIPD) preferred

  • 5+ years in compensation & benefits, ideally within gaming, tech, or entertainment sectors

  • Experience with global reward frameworks and managing executive compensation
