ENTER THE GAME

Within the Legal team, you will play a key role in supporting the Group's corporate governance and strategic development. Working closely with Finance, shareholders, external advisors, and senior management, you will contribute to the legal management of Betclic's entities in France and abroad.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be to:

  • Manage the corporate affairs of the Group's entities in France and internationally, including annual accounts approval, board and shareholders' meetings, related-party transactions, bylaw amendments, and beneficial ownership filings
  • Implement and monitor powers of attorney and delegation of authority frameworks
  • Participate in Group restructuring and reorganization projects
  • Provide legal support to shareholders, Finance teams, and other stakeholders on corporate operations
  • Manage and monitor finance-related documentation, including intra-group contracts
  • Manage KYC processes and related documentation requests
  • Oversee the Group's insurance programs
  • Manage the Group's trademark portfolio and related intellectual property matters
  • Manage internal agreements and related legal matters
  • Liaise with external counsel, notaries, and statutory auditors
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in corporate law and assess their impact on the Group
  • Maintain and update corporate reporting tools
  • Report regularly on activities and projects to management

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

  • You hold an advanced legal degree (Master 2 in Business Law, Corporate Law, DJCE, or equivalent)
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in corporate law, ideally gained within an international group, a law firm, or a combination of both
  • You have strong expertise in corporate law and a solid understanding of corporate governance matters, group reorganizations, and the legal management of companies in an international environment
  • Knowledge of intellectual property and compliance/anti-bribery matters would be appreciated
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • You demonstrate sound judgment, autonomy, and a proactive mindset
  • You are highly organized, rigorous, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • You have a hands-on approach and are comfortable managing both strategic legal matters and day-to-day corporate administration, with a high level of rigor and ownership
  • You are recognized for your communication skills, interpersonal ease, collaborative mindset, flexibility, and business-oriented approach

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

  • If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
  • You will meet Jordane – Head of Corporate (your future manager) and Marie, Legal Counsel
  • Then, you will meet Sarah - General Counsel
  • Finally, Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together
