Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Betfair Spain Sports team.
As Commercial Executive, you will be the central point of coordination between CRM, Promotions, and Analytics for the Spanish market, owning the promotional calendar, the monthly commercial reporting, and the briefs that keep all moving parts aligned. You will be expected to bring structure, analysis, and commercial judgement to everything you touch.
This is a commercially focused role for someone who plans ahead, roots their decisions in data and local market knowledge, is able to deliver detailed terms and conditions review or promotional briefs, and is comfortable presenting performance results to senior stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Act as the key point of contact for the CRM & Promotions teams, ensuring Spain's commercial priorities are clearly understood, accurately briefed, and well delivered
Own the promotional laydown, maintaining a forward-looking calendar that reflects the commercial strategy, key sporting moments and customer lifecycle priorities
Own the promotional analysis, using data and insights to evaluate performance and identify opportunities to improve mechanics, targeting, and overall cost-efficiency
Present and contribute to meetings with international stakeholders translating analytical findings into clear and structured recommendations
Lead commercial performance sessions for Spain, pulling together data from across the business into a coherent narrative that supports decision-making at a senior level
Track performance against plan on an ongoing basis, flagging risks and opportunities early and proposing corrective actions where needed
Take ownership of promotional terms and conditions for the Spanish market, ensuring they are accurate, compliant with regulatory requirements
Support the Country Head across commercial and regulatory tasks as they evolve, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the changing Spanish regulatory framework
What you'll bring:
Previous work experience in; an online company, a large multinational company, B2C company and/or a tech company
Experience in Spanish gambling market preferred but is not required.
Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently in Excel or other reporting tools and translate data into clear commercial recommendations
Solid presentation and PowerPoint skills, able to communicate findings and proposals clearly to stakeholders at different levels
Knowledge of the Spanish gambling regulatory framework, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire it
Exposure to the online betting or gaming industry is a significant advantage
Data Driven: Comfortable working with data and using it to inform decisions, from reading campaign results to identifying trends that shape the commercial plan.

NICE TO HAVE
Understanding of key commercial metrics and campaign performance indicators such as ROI, NGR, bonus cost and redemption rates
Understanding of the Spanish market and sports landscape, with a genuine interest in staying current with local news and trends
Familiarity with betting market structures or CRM segmentation logic
Looker knowledge
