Position Overview
As part of SiGMA Group’s continued global expansion, we are launching a new FX-focused subdivision. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving commercial growth by selling exhibition booths, sponsorships, and branding opportunities to FX, fintech, and financial services companies across SiGMA’s international event portfolio. This role is purely commercial and sales-oriented and does not involve FX trading, brokerage operations, or financial advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard FX, fintech, and financial services companies as exhibitors and sponsors.
• Sell exhibition booths, sponsorship packages, and tailored branding solutions across SiGMA events.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and lead generation.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat participation across multiple events.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals in line with revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communication, and contracts using CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and events to ensure seamless exhibitor delivery.
• Attend international SiGMA events to meet clients, support on-site sales, and represent the Group.
• Monitor market trends within FX, fintech, and financial services to identify new commercial opportunities.
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Any other task assigned by the line manager.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience within events, exhibitions, iGaming, FX, fintech, or financial services is considered an asset.
• Strong commercial mindset with a results-driven approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently for global events.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
