About Flutter UKI

Role Overview:
The role of Associate Data Product Owner consists of being the main interaction point between Business Stakeholders, Product & Technology teams. You will bridge technical and business worlds as you continually deliver improvements and innovative features across a range of products.
You will have a bias for action and can break down problems into steps that drive the product experience.
Your communication skills will be key, adapting to a high paced environment and constant interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Understand product/commercial needs and how these are translated into functional and technical requirements
Elicit requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, refining them into user stories for tech teams
Understand and balance commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities
Identify dependencies between requirements and product areas, while ensuring transparency for all parties
Identify risks and raise concerns in due time where applicable, ensuring mitigation options are clearly articulated
Maintain a groomed and prioritized backlog of user stories for projects with multiple dependencies, retaining focus on the agreed scope of the iteration
Work with the squad leadership to remove blockers for the squad
Understand the dependencies between technology components and how they combine to deliver solutions to the end consumer and to the business
Work closely with Product Managers to ensure initiatives continue to align with the overall product strategy in the area they own.
Ensure that all solutions meet company-wide standards in terms of non-functional performance, security, compliance, social responsibility
Contribute to clear stakeholder communication and management
Understand and question how the squad's work supports the long-term vision and priorities for your Data Product area
Understand the importance of measurable Data Product objectives and success metrics to achieve the Product strategy
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Knowledge in defining business requirements
Knowledge in influencing working practice changes across analysis and development department
Ability to relate to both business, architecture & technical specialists
Can build strong working relationships
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Resilience and confidence under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude despite adversity
Customer obsessed - You are passionate about designing and building market leading user experiences driven by data
Problem solver - You have strong business, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. You creatively solve problems by understanding the customer, identifying obstacles and proposing viable solutions.
