ENTER THE GAME

Under the supervision of the Senior Copy Writer and in close collaboration with the Art Director Apprentice, you will join a passionate team driven by sports, betting, and gaming as a Copywriter Apprentice.

We are looking for a true sports fan — not just someone aware of the ecosystem, but someone who lives it, understands its codes, its emotions, and its culture. This role requires a deep affinity with sports and sports betting, as your ideas, concepts, and copy will directly connect with an audience that expects relevance, excitement, and authenticity.

Beyond writing, you will play a key role in crafting creative concepts, campaign ideas, game mechanics, and brand storytelling. We value someone curious, culturally sharp, and energized by collaborative creative work.

You will be part of a fast-paced environment where creativity meets performance, working across multiple media and formats.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Write and adapt impactful copy across all communication channels (CRM, social media, campaigns, product interfaces, etc.)
• Contribute to the ideation of creative campaigns, betting animations, and brand activations
• Imagine and develop game concepts and engaging betting-related experiences
• Bring strong ideas on branding, tone of voice, and storytelling across all touchpoints
• Ensure cultural and contextual relevance by leveraging your knowledge of sports news, competitions, and betting mechanics
• Collaborate closely with designers, motion artists, and marketing teams
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops
• Monitor trends in sports, betting, gaming, and digital culture

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

This apprenticeship is for you if:

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in copywriting, advertising, communication, or a related creative field
• You have a first experience in writing or creative ideation (internship, freelance, personal projects…)
• You are a true sports enthusiast AND familiar with sports betting (this is essential — you understand the formats, the language, the excitement, and the audience expectations)
• You naturally follow major competitions, players, and sports news, and understand how betting fits into that ecosystem
• You have a strong sense of ideas, concepts, and storytelling (not just execution)
• You are curious, reactive, and able to turn real-time sports moments into creative opportunities
• You are comfortable working in English in an international environment
• You are proactive, collaborative, and enjoy challenging briefs
• Bonus: you are familiar with creative tools, AI, or content creation formats

This role is a great opportunity for someone who doesn’t just write, but thinks like a fan and creates like a creative — building ideas that resonate with a passionate sports and betting audience.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Sébastien will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (15 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

You will then meet your future manager along with a Senior Designer or Art Director.

If this step is successful, you will be asked to complete a short operational test (approximately 1 to 2 hours).

Finally, Sébastien will conduct a closing HR discussion to review your AssessFirst results and go through your feedback together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
