Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our team.

We’re looking for a proactive and systems-oriented specialist to help us identify and eliminate bottlenecks in our software development processes using data. Your mission will be to design and implement a comprehensive metrics system that provides insights into the efficiency, transparency, and stability of our engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current development processes (CI/CD, code reviews, task management, testing, etc.).
• Define key metrics (e.g., task cycle time, code review throughput, release stability).
• Design the architecture for metrics collection and storage (from scratch or based on existing tools).
• Integrate data sources (Gitlab, Jira, CI/CD systems, HR platform, etc.).
• Develop ETL pipelines for processing and transforming data.
• Set up dashboards and data visualizations (using tools like Grafana, Metabase, etc.).
• Continuously look for improvements: new tracking points, automation, and alerting mechanisms.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Analytics Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Git-flow, CI/CD).
• Ability to define metrics aligned with product and business goals.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., with Airflow, dbt, Prefect).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Superset, Metabase, Power BI, Grafana).
• Python skills for data processing (preferred).

Nice to have:

• Experience analyzing engineering processes and productivity metrics.
• Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab and Jira APIs.
• Experience independently implementing end-to-end analytics systems.
