AML Reporting Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join our AML team in Brisbane. In this role, you’ll protect our customers and uphold regulator trust by delivering efficient, transparent, and seamless AUSTRAC reporting.

This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in high-impact regulatory reporting and suspicious matter assessments, working closely with Fraud Operations, Risk, Trading, and Client Services. You’ll drive best-practice compliance while developing specialist skills in investigations and regulatory processes. This is a varied role with strong pathways for growth within AML and risk.

A Day in the Life:

This role is located in Brisbane working Monday through to Friday. We embrace a flexible hybrid model that blends in-office collaboration with the freedom to work from home. Here’s a snapshot of your day:

• Submit high‑volume Suspicious Matter Reports and other AUSTRAC reports.
• Support fraud-prevention initiatives through precise data entry and record-keeping.
• Collate investigations, reports, and written responses, engaging stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure case files are complete, organised, and full compliant with regulatory standards.
• Evaluate customer accounts, identify potential risks, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with Fraud Operations, Risk, Trading, and Client Services teams to drive effective fraud prevention.

Your Strengths:

• Exposure to regulator or financial-crime reporting is highly desirable.
• Commitment to build understanding of AML/CTF Act, Privacy Act, and Criminal Code.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High analytical capability, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively, exercising sound judgement.
