Your daily pitch
The goal of this role is to lead and inspire a strong team within the CO AML department — keeping performance at the top of the league and ensuring we play by the rules at all times. You’ll help the team stay sharp, deliver high-quality results, and prevent compliance fouls, while supporting the Head of Department in driving our game plan and executing the overall strategy.
Your playing field:
- Ensure smooth B2C operational alignment between our Digital and Shop teams — keeping both sides playing from the same playbook.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Analysts and Specialists — onboarding new players effectively and monitoring daily performance to make sure we’re hitting our department targets, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Oversee all reporting activities, flagging technical improvements or unusual patterns to the Optimisation Team, and passing any suspicious behaviour to the Compliance Team — keeping our defence strong.
- Maintain top-quality monitoring to prevent compliance breaches and ensure we always play by the rules.
- Work closely with Compliance to keep all regulatory and AML processes up to date, while ensuring the team receives practical, hands-on training.
- Stay on the ball with the latest developments in Customer Operations, building strong relationships with peers and key stakeholders.
- Support audits and tackle ad-hoc matters as they arise — always ready to step in when the team needs an extra hand.
Which skills you should bring to the pitch:
- Education. Bachelor’s degree, post-secondary qualification, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or within one of the Customer Operations functions in the iGaming industry.
- Knowledge. Strong understanding of payments, fraud, and AML processes — essential to keeping our operations compliant and in top form.
- Leadership. Proven experience in developing, managing, and inspiring colleagues and teams — leading by example and motivating others to perform at their best.
- Language. English fluency is required, as it’s our main language on and off the pitch. As the #1 sports betting company in Germany, proficiency in the German language would be nice to have but not necessary.
