Your Impact

We’re looking for an AML/CTF Analyst to join our 1st Line AML team within Legal & Compliance.

Reporting to the AML/CTF Lead, you will play an important role in helping Entain meet its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations. You’ll monitor customer behaviour, transactions and accounts, review KYC and customer due diligence activity, assess sanctions alerts, and support remediation and reporting processes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, sound judgement and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

A Day in the Life

  • Analysing customer transactions, accounts and behaviours for indicators of potential money laundering or terrorist financing activity.
  • Performing enhanced due diligence checks, including compiling source of funds and source of wealth information.
  • Conducting ongoing customer due diligence and transaction monitoring.
  • Assessing customer accounts and documenting investigation outcomes.
  • Lodging Suspicious Matter Reports and other reports with AUSTRAC as required.
  • Preparing sound investigation rationales and recommendations for review.

Your Strengths

  • Understanding of, or prior experience with, KYC, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly when documenting investigation outcomes.
  • Confidence in building rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to provide clear rationale and recommendations.
