Role Overview
As the Website Senior Specialist for PokerStars.fr, you will be responsible for the management, optimization and content publishing for the .fr website across sports and poker products.
This role ensures the website delivers an exceptional user experience while driving commercial objectives through effective content management, technical optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Website Management
Develop and implement the website content aligned with PokerStars.fr commercial goals
Manage website publishing schedule and prioritize initiatives based on business impact in alignment with the Content Manager, France
Feed insights into Product and Technology teams on website architecture, navigation, and user journey optimization
Ensure website compliance with French regulations and responsible gaming requirements
Content and User Journey
Collaborate with Content Manager to ensure website content is current, engaging, and compliant
Optimize landing pages for acquisition campaigns and promotional activities
Implement guidelines to improve user engagement and conversion rates
Deliver website improvements to content to enhance player experience
Oversee French language quality and consistency across all web properties
Compliance & Security
Ensure website adheres to ARJEL (French gambling authority) requirements
Implement and maintain responsible gaming features
Work with security teams to ensure data protection compliance (GDPR)
Manage cookie policies and privacy requirements
Coordinate regular compliance audits
Technical Operations
Coordinate with development teams for website updates and new feature implementations
Manage content management system (CMS) and ensure optimal performance
Monitor website performance, uptime, and page load speeds
Implement SEO procedures and manage technical SEO requirements
Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
Analytics & Optimization
Define and track website KPIs and performance metrics
Conduct regular analysis of user behavior and conversion funnels
Implement A/B testing programs to optimize conversion rates
Generate actionable insights from web analytics data
Report on website performance to stakeholders
Project Management
Lead website-related projects from conception to launch
Collaborate with multi-functional teams including design, development, and marketing
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
What you’ll bring:
4+ years of website management experience, preferably in iGaming or e-commerce
Demonstrable experience working with CMS platforms and web technologies
Solid understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization
Knowledge of French online gambling regulations
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
Desirable
Experience in the French iGaming market
Technical background or understanding of web development
Knowledge of poker
Understanding of affiliate marketing and acquisition channels
Technical Skills
CMS platforms (preferably enterprise-level)
Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Basic HTML/CSS understanding
