UX Research Internship

Are you a student or recent grad who's passionate about understanding people? Join us as a UX Research Intern and help us build a product that fans love. This is a hands-on, collaborative internship where you’ll work closely with senior researchers and get exposure to the entire research process, from planning to presenting. You’ll make a tangible impact on our product and gain invaluable experience that you can take anywhere.

What You'll Do

You won't be on the sidelines. You’ll be a core part of the research team, contributing to real-world studies that enhance the user experience. You'll:

  • Get Hands-On Experience: Partner directly with the UX Research team, observing senior researchers and participating in end-to-end research studies.
  • Help Shape the Work: Collaborate with mentors to identify research opportunities and assist in creating key study materials like research plans and discussion guides.
  • Conduct Research: Gain practical experience with core methods like usability testing and in-depth user interviews.
  • Analyze & Uncover: Help organize, analyze, and interpret qualitative data to find key themes and insights.
  • Share Your Findings: Assist in preparing and presenting compelling research findings to product, design, and other partners, helping them make data-driven decisions.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with a curious mind and a drive to learn. You’re a great fit if you have:

  • Foundational Knowledge: Basic familiarity with UX research processes and qualitative methods, such as usability testing.
  • A Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn, challenge yourself, and accept feedback from your mentors.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate your findings.
  • An Analytical Approach: A passion for solving interesting problems and a strong ability to think critically.
  • Bonus Points: Coursework or a degree in a relevant field like Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or Cognitive Science; a portfolio of your research projects; or a passion for sports and daily fantasy.

Education Level: Ideal candidates are rising juniors and seniors or graduate students who have had prior internships related to UX Research.
