Reporting to the Treasury Manager – Risk Management, the role is responsible for the daily operations of Flutter Entertainment Plc's cash management and deal execution processes, with a focus on continual improvement.

The treasury function is making significant progress through a treasury transformation project, which includes the implementation of an in-house bank, enhancing treasury systems and the improving group’s underlying banking infrastructure. The in-house bank will be leveraged to further centralise treasury cash management and operations across the group. This transformation project is part of Flutter Treasury’s journey of continual improvement to be best in class treasury for a Fortune 500 organisation.

This role is suited to individuals with strong technical ability, knowledge of corporate treasury instruments, and have demonstrable interpersonal, communication and networking skills. Extensive experience of cash management, the execution and management of treasury instruments in a large multinational corporate or bank is essential.

What you’ll do

  • Manage daily cash flow for all brands within the structure (PPB, TSG, Tombola, SBG), encompassing FX transactions and investment of excess corporate and player funds.
  • Assist with the development of cash flow forecasts for PPB and TSG entities.
  • Support the ongoing implementation of the In-House Bank, including testing, advising on risk management needs, and handling internal FX deals.
  • Input trades and generate associated trade settlements.
  • Develop cash management structures and maintain the daily cash position worksheet.
  • Liaise with client teams, including processors, customer wallets, and the investment/withdrawal of customer funds.
  • Coordinate with AP, tax, and other brand teams to ensure adequate funding.
  • Assist with quarterly and discretionary debt servicing, including derivatives management.
  • Administer intercompany loans and coordinate efforts with the Tax team.
  • Identify and bring up risks related to treasury interest rates, FX, liquidity, and counterparties, working to mitigate and report these risks.
  • Support the FX hedging program, including exposure identification, trade execution, and efficiency reviews.
  • Maintain Bloomberg derivative valuation models.
  • Monitor and improve interest income within treasury policy parameters.
  • Stay current with industry guidelines.
  • Foster a high-energy, enthusiastic, and positive culture within the treasury function.
  • Work together with the broader Treasury function and support new customer wallet suppliers/processors.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and projects proactively.
  • Support Banking & Compliance in clearing unused bank accounts.
  • Manage the Group Treasury mailbox, ensuring timely query resolution.
  • Instruct new team members on daily cash management procedures.
  • Maintain policies, controls, risk assessments, and governance processes to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Document processes continuously.

How you’ll do it

  • Studying for professional accounting or treasury exams, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to build strong networks and relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying ideas in both technical and accessible terms.
  • Flexible and positive attitude, growing in a frequently changing environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and innovative with a proactive approach.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Prior exposure to the gaming industry or related banking experience is highly advantageous.
  • Clear communicator, able to explain information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaborative great teammate, working effectively across functions and locations.
  • Analytical approach, capable of identifying issues and supporting solution development.
