The Role

You will review the day-to-day quality of our trading and customer segmentation team, including optimisation of all elements of trading. You will ensure the compliant, efficient and effective delivery of our Sportsbook offering on behalf of the operator and the delivery from Sportsbook suppliers is within expectation and service levels and key strategic goals for our sportsbook product can be appropriately supported.

This role will focus predominantly on trading, as well as customer insights. With an abundance of data at our disposal, our analysts strive to provide the business with actionable recommendations through a vast number of tools. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always at hand to provide guidance, brainstorm ideas and help teach new concepts.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in the gambling market, and a keen understanding of market & trends, as well as core business KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the business, especially trading, customer analysis and segmentation to ensure trading needs are met
  • Review trading performance + pricing quality monitoring with a focus on betting offer, customer risk and trading (margin %, limits, bet delay) with a view to improve our offering and optimise player experience
  • Monitoring the performance of the business and investigating changes in core KPIs
  • Review customer profiling quality (limits, factoring, efficiency)
  • Benchmark our pricing and market offering against the and take necessary steps to position our sportsbook accordingly in the market
  • Help to create trading related ad-hoc reports to identify fraud or problematic betting patterns
  • Be the connector to our 3rd party trading team. Establish a relationship and close collaboration with teams
  • Create a self-learning environment to improve our sports betting product as well as business performance

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • This role would suit an aspiring candidate with a passion for numbers as well as sports – preferably with a background in trading or analytics
  • Proven trading or similar experience with numerical capabilities
  • Ability to identify trading related interests ad-hoc (e.g. betting ticker) and to turn the findings into immediate decisions
  • Ability to learn in a fast-changing work environment
  • Ability to function as a self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Self-driven, organised, and reliable personality to assure accurate and reliable execution
  • Adaptable and flexible with an ability to multitask
