About the team

The Talent team helps shape the future of Stake by finding exceptional people who raise the bar across the business. We partner closely with leaders to understand where the company is heading, what capabilities we’ll need next and how to build talent pipelines before the market catches up.

This team moves with urgency and intention. We care deeply about candidate quality, hiring experience and creating processes that scale. We’re always looking for sharper ways to source, engage and assess talent – combining strong judgement with modern tooling, automation and AI-enabled workflows to unlock better outcomes.

You’ll join a collaborative team that values ownership, curiosity and momentum. The work you do here will directly influence the calibre of people joining Stake and the pace at which we continue to grow.

Why this role matters

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to help us find and engage exceptional talent across engineering, customer success, operations, product and business functions during an important phase of growth.

This is a sourcing-first role. You’ll spend your time uncovering high calibre talent, building meaningful talent pools and creating scalable sourcing systems that improve how we hire. You’ll work closely with talent partners and hiring leaders to map markets, surface standout people early and continuously strengthen the quality of our pipelines.

We’re looking for someone who continuously improves how we do talent acquisition. You’ll help us rethink manual processes, experiment with smarter workflows and leverage tools that make sourcing more effective, responsive and personalised.

What you’ll do

  • Build proactive talent pipelines across engineering, customer success, operations, product and business functions
  • Identify and engage exceptional candidates through creative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, communities, referrals, events and other networks
  • Partner closely with talent partners and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, hiring context and what exceptional talent looks like
  • Translate hiring briefs into thoughtful talent strategies, unpacking transferable skills and identifying adjacent profiles others may overlook
  • Build structured talent maps and market insights across key competitor and talent landscapes
  • Design and improve sourcing workflows using AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve speed, quality and candidate experience
  • Leverage Zapier, Claude, and juicebox.ai to create smarter recruiting workflows and stronger candidate engagement
  • Build and nurture warm talent pools for future hiring needs, creating thoughtful candidate touchpoints over time
  • Deliver a responsive, high quality and human candidate experience from first interaction through to process coordination
  • Continuously refine sourcing approaches, outreach messaging and operational processes based on feedback, data and evolving business needs

What success looks like

You consistently uncover exceptional talent that raises the bar across the business. Hiring leaders trust your judgement, market insight and ability to find people others miss.

You build sourcing systems and workflows that make the Talent team faster, sharper and more scalable.

You develop a strong understanding of Stake’s talent bar, operating model and competitive landscape. You know how to assess potential beyond direct experience, identifying candidates with transferable strengths and potential.

You’ll thrive here if…

  • You genuinely love sourcing and have strong instincts for identifying exceptional talent across both obvious and non-obvious backgrounds
  • You’re highly curious about AI and automation, and actively look for ways to improve workflows and candidate experience
  • You have strong judgement and can quickly calibrate on talent quality, role requirements and hiring priorities
  • You communicate clearly, move quickly and build trust through responsiveness, follow through and thoughtful collaboration
  • You’re adaptable and coachable, able to absorb feedback quickly and refine your approach without losing momentum
  • You enjoy partnering closely with talent partners, hiring managers and teammates to solve hiring challenges together

Bonus if you’ve ever

  • Built sourcing automations or recruiting workflows using AI tools or no-code platforms
  • Worked in a fast moving startup/scaleup or high growth technology company
  • Supported hiring across both technical and non-technical functions
  • Created talent maps, competitor research or market intelligence projects that influenced hiring strategy
