We’re looking for an operations-minded problem solver to help drive smarter, faster, and more efficient ways of working across the Sportsbook. In this role, you’ll support the execution of our operational efficiency agenda while driving operational efficiency initiatives within a key area such as payments, fraud, risk, or customer service. You’ll turn insights into action – streamlining processes, driving disciplined cost control, and helping our ops teams perform at their best. From eliminating inefficiencies to piloting AI-enabled process redesigns, you’ll deliver measurable impact for our customers and the business. Drive Operational Efficiency & Cost Discipline

  • Own & drive operational efficiency initiatives within one or more key areas (e.g., payments, fraud, risk, customer service), driving improvements in cost, process, and team performance, while supporting execution of the broader Operational Efficiency agenda across the business
  • Partner with the Value Optimization team to translate analytical insights into action – identifying and executing savings opportunities in your area(s) of focus
  • Identify friction points, dead ends, and inefficiencies in current processes that impact our customers – then fix them, hands-on and cross-functionally
  • Apply strategic thinking and commercial rigor to deliver bottom-line impact, not just incremental change
  • Be seen as a go-to problem solver and champion for cost discipline, sustainable savings, and smarter operating performance across the business

Elevate Ops Team Performance & Ways of Working

  • Partner with ops-facing teams (service, payments, risk, etc.) to improve day-to-day execution, accountability, and clarity for our Sportsbook customers
  • Act as a thought partner to Customer Operations team members, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance
  • Help spot and eliminate operational blockers that slow down teams or create customer pain points

Drive Smarter, Tech-Enabled Operations Across the Sportsbook

  • Look across the Sportsbook business to identify opportunities to apply automation, AI, or better tooling to reduce manual effort, improve execution, or reduce cost
  • Push the business to adopt scalable, tech-enabled solutions that free up time and resources
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement – bringing structure and urgency to how we identify and solve operational problems

THE STATS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • An energizing and emphatic leader that is passionate and effective at developing high performing teams and working cross-functionally
  • Expansive & Strategic thinker with a strong track record of innovation & delivering growth
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Strong customer empathy and consumer product sensibilities
  • Prior knowledge and interest of sports and technology industries are preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success
  • Understands the different components of a P&L

The applicable salary range for this position is $111,000 - $139,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
