The Opportunity:  

Step into the dynamic role of Sportsbook Content Team Lead where you’ll lead with precision and agility in a high-pressure environment. Responsible for overseeing all Sportsbook Content management, you'll ensure a relevant and seamless customer experience across all of our partner websites while managing a team of up to five Specialists. Your ability to prioritize and delegate effectively will keep operations smooth and responsive, aligning with business, partner, and customer interests. This senior role offers significant exposure across the Sportsbook business, providing a unique opportunity to enhance operational success and drive continuous improvement, while developing key leadership skills.


Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead and cultivate a small team of Sportsbook Content Specialists through hiring, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring a highly engaged, performance-driven, and results-oriented environment.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Content Manager to create an outstanding training program that equips new hires for immediate success.
  • Partake in recruitment initiatives and collaborate with HR and leadership in hiring new talent.
  • Set clear, impactful goals and objectives for team members, emphasizing personal and organizational achievements.
  • Regularly present concise reports on team progress and achievements to upper management.
  • Monitor and uphold high-quality standards in team output through thoughtful quality reviews.
  • Expertly utilise our internal Content Management System (CMS) to create and manage engaging content across our client base.
  • Oversee and execute delivery of key content features to create a bespoke service for our clients.
  • Leverage data to create evidence-based content and optimisations, continually working on transforming content management from an operational task to a measurable growth driver.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure site features are relevant, functional, and meet client expectations.
  • Build strong and long-lasting relationships with internal teams, fostering a positive and communicative environment within Operations.
  • Proactively identify and address recurring challenges to continually enhance content quality, process and procedures.
  • Fill in for the Senior Content Manager, ensuring leadership continuity.
  • Work alongside Product to identify functional gaps and suggest technical improvements that will benefit our clients and internal teams.


Required skills and attributes:

  • Team management - You excel at leveraging the collective power of a team, understanding individual strengths to cultivate a strong, achievement-oriented culture.
  • Time management and prioritization - Excel at managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and enhance team productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Love for sports - If you're passionate about sports and know the big games and teams well, plus have some knowledge about betting and how it works, you're in the right place.
  • CMS and translation tools – Having experience with content management systems and translation tools will help you hit the ground running and add value from day one.
  • Communication skills - You should be good at explaining things simply and changing how you talk depending on the audience.
  • Microsoft Office 365 - Good command of Excel, Outlook, and Teams for efficient daily operations.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive - You notice the small, important details, quickly decide what's most important, and jump in to solve problems before anyone else even sees them.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow - Wanting to get better at what you do and learn all about the sports betting world.
  • Fluent in English - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Flexibility - Being okay with working at different times, since we’re maximising our clients’ product at all times.
