We're looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded Sportsbook Analyst who will deliver impactful insights and play a key role in data-informed decision-making across the commercial Sportsbook function. Reporting to the Manager of Sportsbook Analytics, you will be part of the Sportsbook Analytics team supporting stakeholders from all areas of the business.

What you'll do

• Provide analytical support and insight to enable impactful commercial decision making for the Sportsbook function, allowing key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

• Provide analysis, not just data. Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders

• Work with the Manager of Sportsbook Analytics to identify and implement consistent analytical metrics around business issues and processes.

• Support the delivery of analytical projects and help embed their outputs and recommendations within the organisation.

• Pro-actively monitor key metrics, identifying unusual performance and highlighting to the business potential areas.

• Work closely with Sportsbook function to ensure alignment.

• Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders, promoting the capabilities of the Sportsbook Analytics team.

• Work collaboratively with all analysts within the wider team.

• Identify opportunities to improve Sportsbook performance, customer engagement, revenue and profitability through data-driven analysis.

We are more interested in analytical thinking, commercial curiosity and problem-solving ability than previous experience with specific tools. Successful candidates will have opportunities to develop their SQL, Power BI and Sportsbook knowledge as part of the role.

Essential:

• High level analytical thinking

• Interest in numbers

• Strong mathematical background

• Strong presentation skills

• Interest in Sportsbook and an understanding of fundamental sports and gambling logic

• Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders clearly and work through to completion

Desirable:

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or another quantitative discipline.

• Previous experience in an analytical role is advantageous but not required.

• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python or similar analytical tools is advantageous but not required.
