Role Overview
The Solutions Architect for the MarTech Tribe plays a critical role in designing scalable, high-performance marketing technologies, including the transformation of our promotions platform, development of a robust rules engine, and enablement of customizable Free-to-Play (F2P) games. The role operates within our matrix-managed Product & Technology organization and collaborates closely with engineering squads, product teams, and cross-tribe stakeholders to ensure technical excellence, strategic alignment, and rapid innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Promotions Platform Transformation: Lead the architectural design and technical direction for the transformation of our core promotions platform, ensuring it can support rapid iteration and high-volume campaigns.
Scalable Rules Engine Design: Architect and guide the development of a fast, highly scalable rules engine capable of supporting complex promotional logic and dynamic player segmentation.
Innovative Free-to-Play Games: Drive the architectural vision for innovative Free-to-Play (F2P) games, focusing on quick customization capabilities to adapt to diverse market requirements and regulatory landscapes.
COTS Evaluation & Integration: Evaluate and recommend Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions where appropriate, ensuring seamless integration into our existing ecosystem and strategic alignment.
Architectural Guidance: Provide hands-on architectural guidance and oversight to multiple engineering squads within the MarTech tribe, ensuring solutions are well-designed, efficient, and maintainable.
Alignment & Cohesion: Drive alignment of technical solutions across various squads within the tribe, fostering consistency and reusability, particularly for components shared across promotional activities.
Strategic Adherence: Ensure all solutions developed within the tribe adhere to the overarching technology strategy set forth by the Chief Architect.
Cross-Tribe Collaboration: Facilitate and ensure technical alignment for solutions that span multiple product tribes, working collaboratively with other Solutions Architects and engineering leads.
Product-Tech Synergy: Act as a key bridge between product and technology, ensuring that technical solutions effectively support and drive the MarTech product strategy.
Technical Evolution: Champion the continuous evolution of our MarTech products and platforms, identifying opportunities for innovation, improvement, and adoption of new technologies.
Best Practices: Promote and enforce engineering best practices, design patterns, and coding standards within the tribe, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and security.
Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide engineers on architectural principles and complex technical challenges related to high-throughput systems and rules processing.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical roadblocks and design challenges, particularly those impacting performance or customization flexibility

Qualifications
Working Experience:
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar senior technical role.
Background in iGaming, AdTech, or MarTech preferred.
Strong experience in campaign management systems and rules engine architecture.
Solid understanding of scalable systems and real-time data processing.
Deep expertise in Node.js and Next.js.
Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Experience evaluating and integrating third-party solutions (COTS).
