Entain Canada is hiring a Social Media Strategist and Producer to lead content strategy and production, and manage influencer and creator partnerships for Sports Interaction and Party Casino in Canada.
This role blends strategy, creativity, and collaboration. You’ll own the social strategy for both brands, developing content calendars, producing engaging content, and partnering with influencers, creators, and media partners to deliver original work that drives engagement, builds cultural relevance, and converts audiences.
What you’ll do
Platform Strategy & Growth
Lead the growth strategy across major social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
Translate brand and campaign goals into tailored content approaches for each platform.
Define the balance between organic and paid content by identifying which posts should be boosted or promoted to best achieve brand and business goals, in partnership with the Performance Marketing team.
Develop and maintain content calendar that identifies trends, cultural moments, and platform innovations to drive reach and engagement while aligning with brand objectives.
Work closely with Brand and Creative teams to ensure a consistent and distinctive presence for Sports Interaction and Party Casino.
Monitor competitor and adjacent brand activity to stay culturally ahead.
Content Creation & Partnerships
Create original, engaging, and platform first content that reflects each brand’s tone and personality.
Produce and edit short form videos, visuals, and copy tailored for each platform.
Collaborate with influencers to develop original social content that extends brand reach and engagement.
Support larger content partnerships across sports, entertainment, and media to co-develop campaigns and activations.
Ensure all content meets brand standards and responsible gaming guidelines.
Execution & Oversight
Oversee the execution of social content plans, ensuring delivery aligns with brand voice, creative direction, and business priorities.
Produce content directly including short-form video, copy, and visuals that meet each brand’s tone and creative direction.
Manage the execution of social strategy across internal teams and external collaborators.
Balance day to day content delivery with longer term planning and growth objectives.
Performance & Insights
Build and maintain clear, actionable dashboards to track key social metrics such as follower growth, engagement, video views, sign ups
Deliver regular reporting and actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
Determine which content should be boosted or promoted to best achieve brand and business objectives.
Maintain clear, easy to understand performance trackers and dashboards
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of strategy, content publishing, and community management.
Collaborate internal teams, including Brand and Performance, to align content strategy with broader marketing goals.
Collaborate with creators, influencers, and content partners for campaigns and ongoing collaborations.
6+ years of experience in social media strategy, content, or digital marketing, ideally in sports, entertainment, or consumer brands.
Proven ability to plan, create, and execute social content that drives engagement and brand growth.
Strong understanding of platform strategy and how to balance organic and paid approaches to meet business objectives.
Hands on experience shooting, editing, and producing short form video content for social media
Comfortable briefing and collaborating with creators, influencers, and content partners.
Solid grasp of analytics and the ability to turn data into actionable insights that inform creative direction.
Skilled at building dashboards and reporting frameworks to track performance and measure success.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities, balancing quick-turn reactive moments with long-term strategic planning.
