At Mecca, we’re all about creating experiences people remember both in our venues and online. We’re looking for a Content Creator who lives and breathes social, knows what stops the scroll, and can turn ideas into content that gets people talking.
This is a rolling 6-month FTC where you’ll work closely with our marketing, social, and venue teams to bring ideas to life—while keeping everything true to the Mecca brand.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating engaging, thumb-stopping content across Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Train and inspire our venue teams to produce engaging, impactful social content for their venue channels
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to turn ideas into high-impact content
- Understanding industry regulations, keeping on top of regulatory changes and adapting ideas to ensure they remain fully complaint’
- Supporting both venue-led and digital campaigns with creative storytelling
- Ensuring all content aligns with Mecca brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity
- Spotting trends early and translating them into relevant, on-brand content
- Managing content from concept through to delivery—fast, reactive, and always engaging
- Using data and performance insights (engagement, reach, conversions) to shape content decisions, optimise output, and continuously improve results
What you’ll bring
- A genuine passion for social media – you know what works and why
- Proven experience creating engaging digital content (video-first preferred)
- Strong understanding of platform trends, formats, and audience behaviour
- Ability to use data and insight to inform creative decisions, not just instinct
- Ability to balance creativity with brand consistency
- Confident working with stakeholders and bringing ideas to life collaboratively
- Comfortable working at pace and adapting quickly to new opportunities
