This is an outstanding opportunity to play a visible role in developing industry leading standards from evidence-based positions. Working closely with the Group Head of Safer Gambling, RG Data Analyst, RG Ops Manager and internal divisional stakeholder (specifically within Regulatory; Corporate Affairs; RG and data functions) and external parties, you will lead the high-quality research, data and insight that will underpin senior stakeholders' strategy development and decision making.

About Flutter

In Flutter Legal we provide global expertise to protect the Flutter brand and drive the “Flutter Edge”. The team are leaders of our sustainability and social license to help our customers and communities thrive.

The Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) function sits within the Flutter Group, with the key objectives of leading Flutter’s Sustainability Strategy, the Positive Impact Plan (PIP). We set Group strategies and roadmaps for Safer Gambling, Workplace, Environment, and Community – and influence the strategic direction of the Group’s two Divisions (US and International) as they relates to the sustainability. The SRA is responsible for governance, policies, targets, tools and standards to ensure our ESG (risk and compliance), regulatory, and safe gambling matters are handled well.

What you’ll do

  • Own scoping, budget, delivery and dissemination of critical RG research into SG tool efficacy, harm paraments, positive play, customer behavior change, addiction, and prevalence trends

  • Lead analysis of research and identifying strategic gaps and opportunities through results. Drive evidence-based integration and adoption

  • Scope problems, set hypotheses, agree success measures and decision points with key stakeholders in the wider RG and Reputation communities of practice

  • Commission and handle external partners by owning and writing briefs/statements of work. Running RFPs, negotiate contracts and budgets

  • Deliver complex studies end-to-end: mixed methods (quantitative/qualitative, experimental, UX), customer journey/behaviour, market and competitor tracking

  • Translate evidence into action: providing clear data-led recommendations for internal and public policy positioning on RG areas

  • Lead insight sharing and collaboration within our growing cross-brand community of practice, including building accessible reporting data and repository of insights for brand use in their markets

  • Translating R&I evidence into clear narratives for external and internal communications purposes in partnership with corporate affairs, communications and public affairs colleagues

  • Providing horizon scanning and thought leadership expertise on evidencing our RG positions globally and to brands.

How you’ll do it

  • Validated experience in a Research, Strategy & Insights, behavioural science and/or BI role in comparable sector or consultancy (digital or highly regulated industries) with sector comparable clients

  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, engaging and persuasive storytelling for senior audiences

  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Proven technical data skills (R, Python, SPSS, or data visualization platforms like Tableau/Power BI).

  • Experience leading multi stakeholder research projects. A collaborative, solutions focused mindset with influence and relationship building skills

  • Passion for solving complex problems balancing sustainability and ethical concerns with commercial dynamics

  • Adaptable and comfortable navigating change and uncertainty, with an appetite to learn new technologies and approaches: evolving AI literacy

  • Project management - able to deliver projects on time and on budget

  • Knowledge of behavioural science, research, policy, and harm minimisation approaches advantageous but not essential.
