Job Description

As a Skilled Labourer, you will maintain our estate grounds and operate plant machinery, ensuring a safe and well-kept environment.

Using your experience, you will proactively manage the smooth operation our estate, encompassing a broad range of duties from general grounds maintenance to the operation of essential plant machinery.

You will contribute to ensuring our estate remains a safe, well-maintained, and pleasant environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with good stamina and a reliable work ethic, who has a proven background in general labouring and plant equipment operation.

This is a full-time position, with typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with the flexibility to work weekends when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Labourer, with a strong understanding of estate or grounds maintenance environments.
• Valid Forklift Truck operator's licence and demonstrable experience.
• Experience operating a Telehandler and relevant certification.
• Experience with excavation work, including the use of hand tools and small plant.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks and work effectively in a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to estate management and plant operation.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks to a high standard.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to estate maintenance specifications.

Additional Information

• Assisting with general site labouring duties, including manual handling, site clearance, and material movement.
• Operating a forklift truck for the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment.
• Operating a Telehandler for lifting and positioning materials at various heights.
• Undertaking excavation work using appropriate tools and machinery, as directed.
• Assisting with the setup and dismantling of site equipment and temporary structures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all site safety regulations.
• Supporting skilled tradespeople and other team members as required.
