Playtech‘s Development unit is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with excellent problem-solving skills. 

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Handle frontend support requests related to Java-based application server issues
  • Manage frontend support requests for client-related issues across Windows desktop, native iOS, native Android, and HTML5 platforms
  • Create scripts to check system health after deploying new versions to production
  • Implement and maintain platforms for monitoring and controlling the gaming system
  • Ensure timely closure of support requests via the internal helpdesk system
  • Review product development documentation at both general and detailed levels
  • Act as a liaison between front-line support (Helpdesk) and Java-server and client development teams
  • Collaborate with the software testing team to perform stability and performance tests on new releases
  • Take on additional relevant tasks as assigned by your direct manager

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Have completed secondary education, with higher education preferred, ideally in information technologies
  • Bring experience working in a team-oriented environment
  • Maintain excellent oversight of tasks and assignments in the Frontend Specialist queue
  • Communicate fluently in spoken and written English
  • Possess strong knowledge of Java and SQL
  • Prioritize tasks with excellence and efficiency

SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Our team specializes in supporting end-users by processing technical assistance requests and maintaining system stability. We review product distribution documentation at both strategic and detailed levels, identify system issues, and initiate requests for functional enhancements. Additionally, we configure and maintain monitoring platforms to ensure optimal performance and reliability across our applications.
