SEO Team Lead - eSports

We are now on the lookout for a SEO Team Lead - eSports to help advance our ambitious growth at some of our most important websites in the eSports sector (HLTV.org, futbin.com, etc...) You’ll be a part of a team of SEO professionals that will be working on some of the Better Collective flagship sites.

You will be collaborating with an SEO analyst (dedicated to eSports) & with local teams working on the sites. This will include but isn't limited to setting KPI's, monitoring performance, setting up strategies and also getting your hands dirty with some SEO analyses. This all combined with support from a strong SEO team with a set track record of SEO growth.

Job responsibilities

• Leading the SEO Strategy within eSports

• Defining and ensuring implementation of Organic Strategies in our leading eSports platforms

• Ensuring that guidance from the rest of the team is followed and used

• Align with other stakeholder in the eSports vertical to ensure implementation of Organic milestones

• Be the SEO spokesperson for eSports within Better Collective

• Being at the forefront of SEO innovations and techniques 

Desired skills and qualifications

You are a very structured person with a flair and passion for SEO and managing people. You have hands-on SEO experience (minimum 3 years) and are able to manage a team. You feel comfortable working with multiple projects and people at a time, not losing track of business priorities and the SEO actionables that will make a difference.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong hands-on SEO skills with a solid understanding of how search engines work

• Attention to detail

• Strong sense of ownership - you make sure tasks get done

• Ability to manage SEO professionals

• Experience with all facets of SEO optimization

• Ability to connect with different stakeholders and get a strategy implemented

• Result driven attitude

• Fluent in English accompanied with good communication skills

• Ability to translate (complex) SEO problems to wider stakeholders

• Familiar with a wide range of SEO tools

• Up to speed with AI developments within SEO

• Able to work with AI to make SEO work as efficient as possble

• Affinity with eSports & sports in general is a plus
