Playtech's Tax unit is looking for a methodical Senior Transfer Pricing Manager with excellent communication skills to join our team

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will... 

  • Manage the day-to-day transfer pricing processes across the group. The key territories in which the group operates are Europe, Australia, the USA and Latin America.
  • Design and refine transfer pricing policies, ensuring they are technically robust, commercially aligned, and defensible with tax authorities suggesting improvements and changes to align to business changes.
  • Lead the transition to automate transfer pricing processes, including identifying and deploying agentic tools
  • Coordinate the delivery of annual transfer pricing documentation including Master File, Local Files, and other filings. This includes reviewing the reports and coordinating the preparation of benchmarking by third-party advisors.
  • Provide overview and review as appropriate of annual transfer pricing and other calculations performed by the various finance teams and review and monitor intercompany arrangements
  • Support the preparation of the group’s Country-By-Country Reporting (CBCR) and public CBCR output in liaison with the group tax team
  • Support tax authority enquiries and audits, managing engagement with tax authorities and coordinating responses.
  • Create relationships with the local finance leaders to be able to understand local business operations and changes and provide relevant and accurate transfer pricing advice on a pro-active basis and when requested.
  • Work closely with external tax advisors and lawyers across multiple jurisdictions and maintain these relationships so that advice can be sought when required and as quickly and efficiently as possible. 
  • Identify and support local planning initiatives to manage risks and maximise opportunities, in conjunction with the wider tax team, conducting research and working with advisors where necessary.
  • Resolve transfer pricing issues and coordinating across the wider group tax team, global finance teams and external advisers.
  • Monitor transfer pricing legislation updates across the markets in which the group operates, highlighting issues to the business as appropriate.
  • Support the tax team and wider finance teams on advisory projects. 

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Are trained in tax with a Top 10 accountancy firm or in-house
  • Are ACA or CTA qualified, or equivalent
  • Have at least 7 + years transfer pricing experience required. Experience of international tax is an advantage
  • Have experience in both documentation and business structuring an advantage
  • Have proven ability to work to deadlines in a complex environment, with key skills being attention to detail and effective project management
  • Are able to manage workload to tight deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks and work streams
  • Have the ability to build relationships across the organization and enthusiastic team player

You'll get extra points for...

  • A track record/ experience of automating processes and workstream and doc production using agentic AI and workflow tools such as alteryx
