Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Development:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Mentor and coach team members, nurturing both technical expertise and project management skills.
  • Define clear project milestones and technical goals, ensuring consistent progress and accountability.
  • Strategically delegate tasks to optimize team potential and project outcomes.

Technology and Architecture Oversight:

  • Collaborate with technical leads to design scalable, high-performance software solutions with a strong focus on security and integration.
  • Lead discussions on architectural strategies, performance optimization, and long-term technical roadmaps.
  • Champion best practices, coding standards, and modern architectural patterns.
  • Ensure ongoing system updates, maintenance, and security audits are in place.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with product owners, project managers, account managers, UI/UX designers, and technical support teams.
  • Translate client pain points and industry demands into actionable technical solutions that drive business value.

Recruitment and Training:

  • Play an active role in hiring, from drafting job descriptions to evaluating and onboarding new team members.
  • Lead training programs to upskill the team in emerging technologies and project management tools.

Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure efficient deployment cycles with a strong focus on quality and operational scalability.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews to uphold high delivery standards.
  • Manage technical debt and balance innovation with system maintenance.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive B2B software development experience, with a solid focus on the iGaming sector.
  • 10+ years of technology project management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET and Umbraco.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest .NET technologies: .NET Core, .NET6, WebAPI.
  • Expertise in event-driven architectures and microservices.
  • Advanced SQL skills: profiling, database design, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with client/server and N-tier architectures.
  • Familiarity with Umbraco and Figma for design and deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology and a relentless drive for continuous learning.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of iGaming regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Experience with open-source technologies to optimize costs and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and testing frameworks.
  • Skills in caching strategies and application performance tuning.
