Position Title:  Senior Project Manager 
Structural Unit: CEE Product & Engineering Delivery 

Location: Sofia

Overview of the role:
 

Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery and launch. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while coordinating closely with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners. The Senior Project Manager is also expected to mentor team members, drive process improvements, and ensure alignment with business and product strategy. 

What you'll do:

• Lead and drive end-to-end project delivery from initiation through launch and post-release stabilization; 

• Own project planning, scope definition, timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments; 

• Assemble, lead, and coordinate cross-functional project teams; assign responsibilities and ensure accountability; 

• Facilitate project governance, decision-making, and escalation management; 

• Create and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and delivery roadmaps in collaboration with development teams; 

• Work closely with QA teams to define testing strategies, test plans, and release readiness criteria; 

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in JIRA, Confluence, and other tools; 

• Manage communication with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and clients on business and technical topics; 

• Coordinate and manage external vendors and third-party service providers; 

• Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery, proactively addressing risks and issues; 

• Partner with Service Delivery and Operations teams to support release and deployment processes; 

• Track escalated issues as part of SLA processes and drive resolution across teams; 

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices within project delivery; 

• Mentor and support junior project managers or team members as needed; 

• Perform other related duties as assigned 

 What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of experience as an Project Manager or similar role; 

• Proven experience managing complex software delivery projects in Agile environments; 

• Strong experience working with software development and QA teams; 

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across different teams and seniority levels. 

Standard Qualifications 

• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and Agile values and principles; 

• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and understanding of their differences; 

• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies; 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder and executive-level communication; 

• Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Google Docs, Slack, and video conferencing platforms; 

• Advanced level of English. 

Preferable Qualifications 

• PMP-PMI or PRINCE2 or PMI-ACP 

• Advanced proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence); 

• Background in software development or QA; 

• Business Analysis / Systems Analysis experience; 

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and test planning; 

• Knowledge of API architectures (RESTful, SOAP); 

• ITIL certification; 

• Experience with business process modeling and diagramming; 

• Domain knowledge of the iGaming industry; 

• Strong research and analytical skills.
