Senior Product Designer (Sports) - 1 year Fixed Term Contract

As a Senior Product Designer for our Sports pillar your primary focus will be on delivering reliable, seamless, and engaging experiences across key Sports Betting journeys, including Bet Discovery, Transactional processes, Post-Bet activities, Retail terminals, and Sports Trading tools.

Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, you'll tackle complex user-driven problems and champion a customer centric mindset within our product squads. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that we address our most critical customer needs.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design for our most critical Sports user journeys.
• Translate complex business logic, regulatory requirements, and operational workflows into intuitive design solutions. 
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define scalable system behaviour’s and reusable design patterns. Also, collaborate with different teams/stakeholders to align design solutions with business needs. 
• Support other designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative design culture. 
• Improve and standardize design review practices & encouraging feedback across backend tools to reduce rework, improve scalability and quality. 
• Drive workflow optimization initiatives by identifying friction points, inefficiencies, and usability gaps in internal systems. Also, drive simplification of fragmented workflows and legacy systems. 
• Research to identify/validate colleague pain points, usability challenges, and workflow bottlenecks. 
• Conduct usability testing for internal tools (moderated/un-moderated), focusing on task completion, efficiency, and error reduction.

• Experienced in User Centred Design, applies an iterative design process focusing on the users and their needs in each phase of the design process.
• Well versed in Interaction Design, designs interactive products and services, going beyond the item in development to include the way users will interact with it.
• Advanced in Information Architecture, the design and arrangement of information, content, and navigation in a way that facilitates intuitive and efficient user experiences within digital platforms or systems.
• Advanced knowledge in Visual Design, uses imagery, colour, shapes, typography, and form to enhance usability and improve the user experience.
• Experienced in Wireframing, designs a website service at the structural level, laying out content and functionality on a page and considering user needs and user journeys.
• Well-versed in Accessibility & Inclusive Design, ensures that products are convenient to all while considering user diversity.
• Proficiency with Usability Testing, in planning, designing, executing, and analysing usability tests. Knowledge of various testing methods, such as moderated and un-moderated testing, remote testing, and eye-tracking.
