ENTER THE GAME

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will join the Legal team, working closely with the General Counsel and other business stakeholders, to support Betclic’s operational and strategic activities in a fast-paced, international environment

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be to:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (commercial agreements, partnerships, IT contracts (SaaS, cloud, licenses), service agreements, etc.) and legal documents linked to the company’s operational activities
  • Ensure follow-up and execution of contracts in close collaboration with the group’s operations (Sports, Gaming, Payment, Customer Experience, IT) and central functions (Finance, HR, Communication, General Management)
  • Provide legal support to group projects and advise internal teams on any legal matters
  • Contribute to the management of the group’s digital projects
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory changes applicable to the group’s activities (contract law, commercial law, digital regulations, etc.)
  • Manage pre-litigation cases in collaboration with external counsel
  • Contribute to the training and awareness of operational teams and central functions on legal and regulatory constraints related to our business

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

This job is for you if:

  • You have a Master’s degree (Master II) in Business Law / Contract Law
  • You have 6–7 years of experience in an international environment (experience abroad is a plus)
  • You have strong expertise in contract law, commercial law, negotiation of different types of contracts, as well as significant knowledge in intellectual property, IT contracts, digital law and GDPR
  • You are methodical, rigorous, organized, and capable of analyzing and synthesizing complex issues, with impeccable confidentiality
  • You are collaborative, flexible, business-oriented, and recognized for your strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

Next, you will meet Audrey – Head of Legal Contracts your future manager, followed by Sarah (ManaCom member). Finally, Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
